At CFDI, we’ve recently returned to a mobility equipment supplier in Alfreton, Derbyshire, to complete another 3 full FD30 fire door replacements. Our expert team began by replacing the softwood frame, using fire-rated foam behind the frame for enhanced fire resistance. We then hung the FD30 doors and fitted all heat and smoke seals, along with fire-rated ironmongery like hinges, closers, handles, and locks, ensuring compliance with UK fire door regulations.
Once the work was completed, our office team compiled all relevant CF code data sheets and a tailored, certified sign-off sheet to confirm the installation met all safety standards.
