In March 2025, our qualified fire door installation team completed a fire safety upgrade at Castle Marina, replacing two FD30 fire rated front doors in a private residential block. As always, our commitment to quality, compliance, and safety was at the core of this project.
Our team carried out full FD30 fire door replacements, providing 30 minutes of certified fire protection. These fire rated doors are crucial not only for containing flames but also for acting as smoke controlled and heat-controlled barriers—key components in any effective fire protection strategy.
Each door was professionally installed with certified fire rated ironmongery, including letter plates fitted with intumescent sealant, fire rated door numbers, spy viewers, as well as fire rated hinges, handles, locks, and door closers. Every element was carefully selected to meet or exceed current UK fire safety regulations.
Once installation was completed, we carried out all necessary inspections and certified the doors as fully compliant. The project was then passed to our office team to finalise documentation, gather product data sheets, and prepare certification records.
