Our team is back onsite working hard in Nottingham on multiple apartment doors, we have been undertaking multiple upgrades to various amounts of apartment front doors all fire rated FD30s. We have been carefully adjusting and repairing aspects of the door such as fire rated hinges., new heat and smoke seals to ensure compliance with UK fire door regulations. The process includes inspecting existing hardware, making necessary adjustments to the softwood frame to improve functionality and performance while also now being compliant with UK regulations. Once all fire door works are completed the office team provide all certification, sign off sheets and data sheets to the over 90 tenants / landlords we deal with.
Another job well done for our team.

DATA SHEETS
Once all fire door installations and upgrade/remedial works are completed, our office team will compile a tailored data sheet folder. This folder contains essential information on all intumescent and fire-rated products used, ensuring compliance with UK fire door regulations. We provide these data sheets for future Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs), detailing the required fire-rated materials such as intumescent heat and smoke seals, grade 13 fire hinges, overhead fire-rated door closers, intumescent vents, and fire-rated foam. All our materials and ironmongery comply with UK fire door regulations, and the accompanying data sheets are provided along with a sign-off sheet.

SIGN OFF SHEETS
Our admin team prepares a sign-off sheet for completed fire door installations, which accompanies our data sheets to certify that all installations and materials comply with UK fire door regulations. This documentation includes the project name, location, installation date, and photographic evidence of the fire-rated and intumescent products used, such as smoke and heat seals, locks and latches, hinges, drop seals, overhead door closers, push and pull plates, door viewers, and signage. It also features a checklist of key inspection points that verify the fire-rated products and their corresponding fire-rated codes. All work is signed off by our own FireQual-approved certified inspector. This document aids in future Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs).
